The Home of Motor Racing Marshals in the Western Cape
Based at Killarney Motor Racing Complex near Cape Town near the southern
tip of Africa, we officiate at most forms of motor racing in the Western
Cape including Main Circuit events, Karting, Short Circuit, Drag Racing,
4X4 Challenges, Hill climbs etc. at National, Regional and Club level.
This club is a section of the Western Province Motor Club and are affiliated
MSA (Motorsport South Africa)
It would seem Winter is near......
This means cold wet and windy conditions. Please remember your winter
woolies and rainsuits even if the forecast is clear - the rain is still
7 minutes from Blouberg Hill - not enough time to go home and get your
gear. Also a flask of hot coffee will relieve some of the cold.
We once again have a full calendar this year and numbers of expierenced marshals are dwindling. Please support as many of the events you can - Main Circuit - Short Circuit - Karting - 4x4 Chalenge - Street Cars and Drags. With 2 of the 4x4's being away events we could use all the help we can get as well.

Turn 6 Probably the best situated Club house in the world of motor sport with views of the most stunning sunsets in the world after a hard days race marshalling, we have to be the luckiest marshals in the world. Based the Killarney Motoracing Complex in Cape Town this is probably the most social group in motor racing in S A. After every race meeting the fires are lit and we get a chance to relax discuss the days events, the fun and the work and over a beer or 2 the work fades and the enjoyment begins . Often into the early hours of the morning. Come and join us after the next Race meeting. (We are here) |
